10 Ways to Market Your Amazon Prime Day Links: A Comprehensive Guide for Aspiring Affiliate Marketers
Amazon Prime Day is a highly anticipated event that offers incredible deals and discounts to Amazon Prime members. As an affiliate marketer, this is an excellent opportunity to promote your Amazon links and generate passive income. Here are 10 ways to effectively promote your Amazon Prime Day links!
1. Create a dedicated Prime Day landing page
Design a landing page on your website or blog specifically for Prime Day deals. You can use a Stan Store like the one I have created for my social media streams or even this very easy-to-build website on Hostinger! From there, If you don't have quite enough of a following to have a storefront just yet, you can use Benable. It lets you create lists of all your recommended products from thousands of different brands without having to sign up through them all individually. Here you can create a "Prime Day" list of all the deals you recommend. I linked my Benable to my Stan Store. Additionally, I have a blog post explaining how Benable is a great landing page for your links.
2. Leverage social media
Utilize platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Instagram, and Youtube Shorts to share your affiliate links. Pro tip: if you create one video, download it and upload it to all of your social media streams to maximize your reach! Make sure to add a compelling call-to-action to encourage people to click through to your link. To optimize your social media posts for search engines, use relevant hashtags and keywords in your captions and descriptions. Engage with your audience by responding to comments and messages, and sharing user-generated content to build trust and credibility. The best way to build a loyal following is to be just that: loyal! If you are nervous, like I have been, to post your face on social media, I encourage you to try it just once! That first post of mine talking to Tik Tok eased my worries. Now, I am posting almost every day.
3. Send email newsletters
Keep your subscribers informed about the best Prime Day deals by sending out email newsletters with your affiliate links. If you're new to email marketing like I once was, I learned everything I know from The Freedom Affiliate Launch. I had zero background knowledge of funnels and email marketing, and they walked me through it step-by-step in video form. This will help drive traffic to your landing page and increase the chances of conversions.
4. Publish blog posts and articles
Write informative and engaging blog posts or articles about the best Prime Day deals in your niche. I created a blog post on how to leverage AI in writing blogs. Jasper.ai has made writing so much less daunting and has definitely taken away any and all of my writer's blocks. Include your affiliate links within the content to drive traffic and conversions. I usually link the product not only in my text of the blog, but I link the picture of the product to the product's page as well. To optimize this page for search engines, conduct keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords in your page title, headings, and content. I will create a blog post on keyword search very soon ☺️ Additionally, use internal links to connect your Prime Day blog post to your other relevant blog posts, just as I did above with my Benable article!
5. Create product reviews and buying guides
Publish product reviews, buying guides, and unboxing videos on your website, blog, social media, or Amazon Storefront. This will help your audience make informed decisions while also promoting your affiliate links. A whole lot of people love a good unboxing video (yours truly, included!).
6. Utilize video marketing
Create engaging videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram to showcase the best Prime Day deals. This will help you connect with your audience and promote your affiliate links in a more interactive way. There are a couple of ways influencers promote products: a list of items (in a certain category), reviews of a certain product, and self-made commercials for specific products. The best way to go about these types of videos is to make sure your personality really comes through so that you don't sounds "salesy". The best personalities for these types of videos are: relatable, funny, inspirational, and friendly.
7. Participate in forums and online communities
Join forums and online communities like Facebook Groups, Reddit, Pinterest, and/or Medium related to your niche and share your Prime Day deals and affiliate links (if the group rules allow). Make sure to provide value and contribute to the discussions to build trust and credibility.
8. Create a Pinterest pin of your items
Use Canva to create a beautiful visual of the Amazon Prime Day list you're creating. Canva has a template specifically to fit Pinterest Pin measurements (1000 x 1500 px). For example, once I have finished creating on of my Benable lists, I would take to interest, upload photos of the products in that list, remove their backgrounds, and make a nice visual to send off to Pinterest to be circulated. Of course, you'll need to provide some context within your pin's title and description in order for it to reach the right audience. Pinterest is a great way to get your list to a huge audience. Benable is awesome in that it notifies you when your list has been viewed (AND WHERE IT WAS VIEWED!). It's cool to open my email and see that someone in Washington opened my list - thank you, Pinterest!).
9. Utilize paid advertising
Invest in paid advertising on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads (including Instagram!), and Pinterest Ads to promote your Prime Day deals and affiliate links. This will help you reach a larger audience and drive more traffic to your landing page. To optimize your paid advertising campaigns for search engines, use relevant keywords in your ad copy, headlines, and descriptions, and include descriptive alt text for any images.
